    Dear Members,

The Chamber’s HR Connect seeks to, inter alia, bring HR Managers from Chamber member companies to share knowledge and best practice, build an effective HR Professionals network and help the Chamber identify the people-development needs of its members that it may be in a position to help address.

The first HR Connect for 2024 was held on February and was extremely well received by those who participated. It was informative, engaging and very interactive. Attendees’ main complaint that it was not long enough. The Chamber is keen on continuing to pursue its objectives of encouraging knowledge and best practice sharing as well as providing opportunities for HR Professionals to network and, of course, help the Chamber identify the people-development needs of its members.

The Chamber is therefore extremely pleased to announce the hosting of the May edition of HR Connect on May 22, 2024. The theme of this HR Connect is “What Keeps HR Up at Night!”

HR Connect will examine what are the crucial issues that confront the modern HR Manager and what are some of the measures that can be put in place to assist HR Managers address these issues.

HR Connect will feature four HR Managers in an open conversation about the main issues they face in the current work environment and what are some of the approaches that can be taken to address them and or cope better.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share those issues that keep them up at night and discuss some strategies to respond.

This information is critical and allows entrepreneurs and executives to make better informed decisions. Additionally, it allows shareholders and board members to better evaluate company performance.

With this in mind, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in collaboration with the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation, DSIK, invites you to be part of this edifying and practical workshop on Wednesday 12th June from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
