The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture will once again be conducted using the Zoom Meeting Platform. The AGM will be held under the theme Adapt, Operate, Thrive in the Next Normal. The Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 30th November starting at 9:00 a.m.

You are invited to register early to confirm your attendance and participation.

The Chamber remains convinced that the COVID-19 Pandemic and its impacts on the economy has provided St. Lucia a perfect opportunity to pivot to a more relevant and resilient development paradigm, that will allow us to thrive in a ever changing and emerging “Next Normal.” Moreover, we strongly believe that the Government and Chamber must work more closely together to design and achieve this new economy and drive the attainment of shared national objectives and goals.

The Feature Address at the 137th Annual General Meeting will be delivered by the Prime Minister Honourable. Philip J Pierre. We expect the Prime Minister to speak to this issue of a new development paradigm or Post Covid-19 world and share the Policy and Development approach of the Government.

The Annual General Meeting is not only the highest decision-making body of the Chamber, but it also provides an opportunity for the Chamber Secretariat to report to the membership on its work during the last year and, importantly, provides for the Election of Officers to serve on the Board of Director of the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.

As you are aware all Positions on the Board of Directors are open to all members in good standing. You are encouraged to volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors as an effective Board requires members from various sectors, different perspectives, backgrounds, and skills sets. Each Chamber Member is permitted one vote and can hold a maximum two proxies issued in writing by another Member in good standing.

To manage the voting process, we invite you to provide the name of your voting representative.

For ease of identification, please be reminded that meeting guests must log in with the name provided on their registration form

The Chamber takes this opportunity to urge members with outstanding membership subscription dues to utilize the payment plan options available to you and or to call the Secretariat to make appropriate arrangements. We are aware of the challenges facing our members and remain prepared to do all we need to do serve you better as we Adapt, Operate and remain positive that we can Thrive, individually and as a business community in the Next Normal”.
