At the 138th AGM hosted on November 16th2022, President Trevor Louisy spoke to the issue of Citizen Security and Crime as priority item on the Chamber’s agenda.
The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture has consistently worked to mitigate the impact of crime on its members and the wider society through information sharing and capacity building. It is within this context that the Chamber is organizing a Symposium on the subject of security on December 6th, 2022.
The symposium aims to sensitize the Business Community on steps they should consider to better secure their team members, and businesses, to improve loss prevention while providing access to service providers which will aid in that effort.
This seminar will take the form of a panel discussion where panelists will provide insight into approaches firms can consider to enhance their security, avert crime and mitigate loss of property and injury to staff.
Members are invited to make use of the opportunity to further engage these service providers and experts in direct dialogue during the exhibition that follows.
