Under the Priority area of Law and Order, The Chamber continues to engage members in highlighting major areas which concern The Business Community, as an ongoing agenda item of its work program.
At a meeting of the Law-and-Order Sub -committee of the Chamber of Commerce held on May 11th 2021, members highlighted the urgency in identifying and actioning specific interventions in the citizen safety space, which would benefit members of the Business Community.
The committee identified 5 essential Activities to be undertaken, one of which was The Creation of a Caucus of Chief Security Personnel of Chamber Member Companies. This selects group will engage and network in the agreed areas including:
The Chamber intends to host periodic activities with the identified department representative at least twice annually with increased frequency if needed.
